Whilst all-day pyjamas and comfy loungewear have been an absolute delight in which to indulge over the last year, we can’t wait to start bringing some style back into our wardrobes this season. Here’s a look at trends to embrace over the summer and some sneak peeks into how we’re bringing these fashion forward styles into our new DockATot collections.
Stay At Home Style Is Still Very Much ‘In’
If you’re anything like us, you’ll be relieved to hear that you don’t need to ditch comfort in order to keep up with this season’s latest styles - #stayhomestyle remains a cornerstone of Spring/Summer 2021 trends (aaand we all breathe a collective sigh of relief).

It’s less about squeezing back into your skinny jeans and more about enjoying comfortable, relaxed silhouettes and loose fits. Baggy jeans, wide-leg shapes and comfort-driven fabrics are the staple trend of the season, and they’re set to be around for a while.
We’ve carried this relaxed vibe over to DockATot with our collection of chambray docks. The Marine Chambray dock features a faded and naturally hued blue (just like your favourite pair of jeans) whilst the Ginger Chambray embraces a relaxed warmth and casual style. Take a closer look and find out how to style them in your interiors in our Chambray Design Focus article.
Dreaming of Denim
As lockdown continues to lift and we emerge from beneath our comfy joggers and baggy knits, it’s time to dig-out those long-neglected jeans - this season, denim is making a comeback! But it’s returning with a more loose and languid style that sits comfortably within the ‘stay home style’ trend.

Whilst baggy jeans are very much a season staple, we’re also enjoying more creative uses of denim, with 3D textured prints from Chanel and patchwork finishes embraced by the likes of Lutz Huelle and Maison Margiela.

Trans Seasonal Dressing is En Vogue
Versatility and adaptability is the hot topic of fashion circles at the moment. Invest in timeless items that hold long-term appeal, rather than fashion fads that come and go. It’s all about simple classics that can be worn across different seasons and adapted for varying trends.
That means investing in a few, quality wardrobe staples that will last for years to come. A long-sleeved, breathable shirt or blouse is the perfect example of clothing that can work across seasons with sleeves rolled-up for summer or worn with a blazer for cooler days. It can be smartened-up with a midi skirt for work, paired with jeans for casual, or dressed-up for an evening out. The cornerstone of a versatile wardrobe!

DockATot Inspired By Fashion
Motivated by this movement towards investing in versatile classics, we’ve been working hard behind the scenes to design something very special. Take a look at our new Indigo Chambray dock, inspired by timeless denim style.
